Main Directions of Activities |
|
We are currently focusing on: - ongoing analysis of market of educational services and new educational activities to be undertaken, as permitted by our staff resources and didactic base;
- winning over members of personnel including organizers, lecturers, and consultants of high professional and pedagogical qualifications;
- providing comprehensive assistance to TWP Higher School of Humanities, necessary for the School's further development;
- intensifying educational activities within the scope of professional activation of the unemployed;
- intensifying educational activities within the scope of creation of information society, including general IT education and education within the scope of professional user software, undertaking educational activities within the scope of improving professional qualifications or changing qualifications;
- ensuring qualitative and quantitative development of foreign languages teaching.
Among the leading tasks currently underway are the following: - optimal adjustment of educational services offered to market economy demands, with special focus on demand for various forms of trainings provided by employers (about 450 trainings and training-conferences for approx. 8 000 participants are carried out annually on order by over 400 employers);
- extension of educational offer of our School (for over 2 500 students annually);
- extension of scope of training for ship crews;
- continuation of cooperation with the Polish branch of the German People's Universities Association;
- continuation of cross-border cooperation with KVHS Anklam;
- continuation of cooperation with Regional Labour Inspection as regards education in Post-secondary Vocational College and course activity within the scope of occupational health and safety;
- creation of youth Academic School of General Secondary Education of TWP Regional Branch;
- preparation of projects and obtaining European funds.
The abovementioned tasks are carried out by about 500 members of our organization: lecturers, theoreticians, and practicing staff, consultants, and organizers.
